Jerry G. Carter, 55, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Monday November 12, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, October 12, 1963 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Ellisville Funeral Home and the burial will follow in Dixie Community Cemetery. Bro. Glenn McElhenny will officiate. Jerry was employed with Aamco Transmissions of Laurel for 35 years as a general manager. He was also the state representative for the National Rabbit Hound Association. He also enjoyed running beagles with Dixieland Beagle Club where he served in various positions.

He was preceded in death by father T.J Carter.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years Sandra Carter; sons, Jeremy Carter (Candis) and Jacob Carter (Kelsey); mother, Alpha Carter; grandchildren, Noah Carter, Jaylenn Carter, Peighton Carter, Autumn Carter, Riley Reeves, Emma Stevens and Baby Carter; brothers, James Carter (Tracy), Jimmy Carter (Ruthie) and Johnny Carter (Robin); sister, Connie Munn (Harold) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Carter, Jacob Carter, James Carter, Jimmy Carter, Johnny Carter and Harold Munn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Jordan, Justin Privett, Gaige Carter, and Justice Munn.
