Janice Marlene Monk, 43, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022.  She was born Saturday, December 9, 1978 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Antioch United Pentecostal Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Antioch United Pentecostal Church and burial will follow in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Lena Lovett (Father), and her sister, Rosemary Lovett.

Survivors include her husband, Houston Monk, her son, Bradley Lovett (Brittany), her daughter, Rose Lovett, her brothers, Jamie Lovett, Ray Lovett, Vernon Lovett and John Lovett, her sister, Lela Bass, her grandsons, Dalton Lovett, Levi Lovett and Phoenix Lovett, and her granddaughter, Octavia Walker.
