James Earl "Shot" Adams, 77, of Moselle, MS passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at his residence in Moselle, MS. He was born Monday, May 6, 1946 in Ferriday, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Bro. Ramsey Coutta will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Shot was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening. It was important to him to pass his love for the outdoors on to future generations. Shot greatly loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bucky Adams and sister, Dottie Watson.

Survivors include his sons, Casey Adams (Brittany) and Curt Adams (Amelia); sister, Dolores Childers (Melvin); grandsons, Travis Adams and Landry Adams; granddaughter, Emarie Adams; best friends, Gary and Harriet Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Alzheimer's association.
