James E. Pigford, 77, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Wednesday April 1, 2020at his residence in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, December 24, 1942 in Pennsylvania.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lake Park Hills Cemetery in Laurel, MS with Burial to follow in Lake Park Hills Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Jean Pigford; father, Julius Ellis Pigford; mother Ruth Pigford.

Survivors include his children, Jonathan Pigford, and Joy Lynne Townsend; 2-granddaughters; 2-great-granddaughter; 1-great-grandson.
