James Olen Holifield, 50, of Stringer, Mississippi, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, January 6, 1971 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Blackledge Cemetery in Laurel, MS with burial to follow. Bro. Kenny Smith will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Holifield, one daughter, Tiffiany Holifield and his wife, Stacy Holifield Shumock.
Survivors include his father, Danny Holifield, his children, Madison Smith (Brandon), James Holifield (Morgan), his grandchildren, Kaylee Smith and Kynlee Smith, one sister, Alisha Powell (Jason) and one brother, Eric Holifield.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Tony Reeves, Jason Powell, Chad Sullivan, Dalton Creel and Devon Maxcey.
Nathan Maxcey will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
