James H. Montgomery, 82 of Laurel, MS passed away Monday, November 11, 2024, at St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born Thursday, December 18, 1941, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in Stringer, Mississippi. Bro. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Montgomery; mother, Bertha Williams; brothers, Ernest Montgomery and Eugene Montgomery.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jordan Montgomery; and a host of nieces, nephews and other cousins and family.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Parker, Jonnie Ayres, Scooter Thornhill, Issac Herrington, Stephen Loften, and Jason Norris.
