James W. Creel, 83, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Ellisville, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, October 20, 1936 in Jones County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home and the burial will follow in Beech Cemetery. Bro. Davy Fenton and Bro Johnny Bryant will officiate. James enjoyed hunting and gardening. He will be loved and missed by all his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nollie and Etta Creel, son, Jeffery Creel, grandson, Brandon Tisdale, sister, Oveta Gaye Creel Swanson, father and mother-in-law, Clifton and Lorene Walters.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Rhea Creel, daughter, Kathy Creel Bailey (Win), 2 sons, Gary Creel (Melony), Jason Creel (Mindy), 2 grandsons, Dustin and Jase Creel, 2 very special great-grandchildren, Brendan Tisdale and Bayle Creel, 1 brother, Lamar Creel (Rachel), 1 sister, Wanda Faye Hinton (Lester).

Pallbearers will be Kenny Smith, Melvin Creel, Malcolm Creel, Terry Creel, Mike Hinton and Aaron Hinton.
