Iva L. Black, 90, of Ellisville, MS died Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Comfort Care in Laurel, MS. She was born Thursday, February 13, 1936, in Ellisville, MS.

Visitation will be held from Friday, May 1, 2026, 9:30AM until 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS. Burial will follow in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Charles Brady will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Ansel Black; father Henry Lewis Dykes and mother Fannie Mae Dykes; brothers Thurman Dykes, Carlis Dykes, Johnny T. Dykes, Brelon Dykes; sister Ruby Mae McFarland.

Survivors include her; daughter, Rita Dennis (Charles), Ellisville, MS; son, Royce Black (Donna), Ellisville, MS; grandchildren, Amanda Carter (Ryan), Laurel, MS; Amy Dennis, Ellisville, MS; Miranda Black, Ellisville, MS; Trent Black (Brooke), Covington, LA; great grandchild, Rylee Carter, Laurel, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
