Hilda Grace Anton, 92, of Niceville, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. Born on August 18, 1932, in Ellisville, Mississippi, Hilda lived a life full of love and dedication to her family. She was the favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews. Hilda began her career in office work and continued her career to become a claims adjuster in San Fransico, California and was very proud of her career.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald F. Anton, her parents William and Magdeline Falks Temple, her grandchild Alexandria Farstad, her sister Sue Smith, and her son-in-law Cliff Murphy.

Hilda is survived by her son, James Anton, and her daughters, Sharon Murphy, Donna Tashik (John), and Lisa McFaden (Norman). She leaves behind cherished memories with her grandchildren, Brandy Hart, Wes Hart, Aja Meisenheimer (Jake), Zoe Frisby (Justin), Shelby Anton, and her great-grandchildren Brody, William, Zeke, Ella, Lilly, Madison, and Chase. Her brothers, Dan Temple (Sue), Dale Temple (Dottie), Dwight Temple (Rachel), Mack Temple (Linda), and Jesse Temple, along with her sisters Mae Welch Bush and Elsie Sullivan (Reggie), also survive her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the same location, with burial at County Line Cemetery in Ellisville, MS.

Pallbearers will include Greg McDonaugh, Brody McDonaugh, Norman McFaden, Jake Meisenheimer, Jay Temple, and Podge Temple.
