Herbert Wayne Hutto, Sr. age 79 of Laurel, MS passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Wednesday, October 7, 1942 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Mill Creek Cemetery. Bro. Bill Myers will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Herbert Wayne Hutto, Sr. was a devoted husband, father, and friend to everyone he knew and cared for.  After 32 years of employment at Masonite, he retired and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, reading, and bird watching.  We are thankful for the legacy he left us with and will rejoice when we are with him at the pearly gates of Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Fitzgerald; his parents; Ruel and Ella Mae Hutto; his brother, Lee Zann Hutto; his sisters Sheila Corley and Glenda Faye Tisdale.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Johnson Hutto; his two sons, Teddy Hutto (Melissa) and Wayne Hutto (Laura); daughter, Mae Lena Rainey (Chris) and a host of grandchildren.
