Helen Orene Sumrall, 89 of Ovett, MS passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Monday, October 22, 1934 in Tyler, Texas.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 2:00PM at Moselle Memorial Gardens in Moselle, MS with burial to follow. Jerry Higdon will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Earl McAnally; mother, Helen Marie Dowdy McAnally; brother, Robert McAnally.

Survivors include her husband, Arden Guy Sumrall; son, Daryl Sumrall (Nancye); daughters, LaNelle Sumrall and Rhonda Capes (Todd); grandchildren, Alex Eynon, Olivia Collier (Josh), Forest Sumrall, Matthew Sumrall (Lauren), Weston Capes, Maggie Capes and Wyatt Capes; brother, Walker McAnally (Linda); sisters, Jean Parrish (Paul) and Verna Herring; great grandchildren, Lennox Milstead, Weylan Eddy, Roland Sumrall, Anna Eynon and Erik Eynon.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Sumrall, Matthew Sumrall, Weston Capes, Wyatt Capes, Terry Creel, and Nathan Brannan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Maggie Capes, Olivia Collier, and Alex Eynon.
