Obituary

Grover ‘Conrad’ Robertson, passed away in the comfort of his home on July 29, 2026, at the age of 83.

Conrad was born on Sept 12, 1942; and raised in Jones County.

Conrad met the love of his life at the age of 20; and they have recently celebrated 64 years of marriage. They built a life grounded in love; and he poured his soul into being a servant for his family, as well as, discipling his family to love the Lord.

He was a proud grandfather who cherished his grandchildren; never losing an opportunity to spend time with the grandkids on the farm, birthdays, or attending any extracurricular activities or events. He was a man of few words, but he was intentional with how he demonstrated his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Iva Mae and Aubrey Robertson; sibling Emma Jean Thompson; brother-in-law Eddy Ellzey; a host of other close in-laws; and grandchild Grayson Chet Robertson.

Left to Cherish all of the Memories made with Conrad (also known as Papa Robertson) are Virginia ‘Vastie’ Robertson- his Beloved wife; Nelda Ellzey - his sister; his brother-in-law, Latrell Turner (Pansy); sister-in-law Vernice Craft; his children - Chris Robertson (Marianne), Ken Robertson (Sherri), and Stan Robertson (Bridget); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers are Cody Robertson, Grady Robertson, Chantry Robertson, Robert Husband, Joel Brogan, and Keith Craft.

Honorary Pallbearers are Brayden Robertson, Rylee Robertson, Grayson Robertson, and Drew Brogan.

A visitation will be held at Ellisville Funeral home on Saturday August 1, 2026, at 9:00AM until 10:00AM; Funeral services will begin at 10:00AM at the same location. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Seminary, Covington County, MS.
