Gloria Ethelree Ellzey, 86, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center, Born on June 12, 1940, in Laurel, MS

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ellzey; Father, Everett Hill; Mother, Vallie Hill; siblings, Emma Joy Smith Powell, J Benson Hill, Carlson Hill; nephew, Brian Hill.

She is survived by her loving family, including her children; Ethelree Dykes, Stogey Dykes (Sonya); grandchildren, Casey Dykes (mother Jan Dykes), Somner Gipson (Mitco), Swana Paluch; great grandchildren, Iris Gipson, Carson Paluch, Mckenzie Paluch (father Erin Paluch); sister in law, Patsy Hill; lifelong friend, Aline Anderson.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM Monday, July 13,2026 at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, MS with burial to follow. Bro. Brent Benson. Arrangements are under the care of Ellisville Funeral Home.
