Glenda Diane Roney, 71, of Ellisville, MS, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born on August 30, 1954, in Collins, Mississippi, Glenda was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Diane loved painting, gardening and playing the piano at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Glen Roney of Ellisville, MS; her son, Joseph Roney and his wife Nikki; her daughters, Laura Clements Thomas and her husband John, Regina Roney Adams, and Callissa Ladner. She also leaves behind her sister, Jill Williams and her husband Toxie, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Tyler Clements, Baylee-Marie Clements, Aaron Thomas, Madison Murry and her husband Isaiah, Noah Adams, Chloe Eager, Levi Adams, Blair Eager, and Reese Ladner. Her great-grandchildren, Zayn Murry and Adalie Murry, will also carry on her legacy.

Glenda was preceded in death by her father, W.E Fairchild; her mother, Johnnie Sanford Fairchild; and her brother, Eddie Fairchild.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location, with burial to follow in Oak Bowery Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. The services will be officiated by Bro. Kenny Morris, Bro. Josh Henderson, and Bro. Glenn Shoemake. Pallbearers will include Matthew Wilkerson, John Thomas, Sam Gill, Zachary Blackmon, Adrien Moore, and Nick Moore.
