Eloise Elizabeth Cooley, 79, of Ellisville, MS passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in Sandersville, Mississippi. She was born Monday, June 5, 1944 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home on 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM The burial will then take place in Mt. Olive Methodist Church Cemetery in Ovett, Mississippi. Rev. Larry Shows and Rev. Mark Anderson will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lavelle Cooley; parents, William and Lorraine Yelverton.

Survivors include her sons, Jason Scott Cooley (Joanna) and Steven Lavelle Cooley (Sharon); grandchildren, Tristan Dakota Cooley, Weston Lavelle Cooley, Gracelyn Nicole Cooley, McClellan Elizabeth Cooley and Merritt Holliman Cooley.

Pallbearers will be Michael Strickland, Blake Strickland, Mason Strickland, Weston Cooley, Roger Wood, Eddie Ingram, Jake Kyzar, Clarence "Putt" Putnam and Kevin Haley.

In Lieu of flowers the family has request donations be made to Ellisville First Methodist Church.
