Edward Joseph Houillon, Jr., 83 of Moselle, MS passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his residence in Moselle, MS. He was born Friday, July 5, 1940, in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

Edward was known for his undying, sacrificial love for his family. He knew how to enjoy the important things in life. He enjoyed Jehovah's creation from his love of gardening to the satisfaction of watching his numerous hummingbirds. He took nothing for granted. He never turned down a chance to throw in a pole in any body of water. He always helped those in need with his many skilled trades. Edward would keep you laughing with his wit and laid back ways of telling a story. Eddie (Bobby, Pepaw) will always be remembered as a kind hearted, one of a kind loving man who will be missed.  He will then wake up from that sweet nap and say "I've rested long enough, let's get this earth looking good"

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Houillon; mother, Dorothy Viera Vaughn; brothers, Ronald Houillon and Emile Houillon; sister, Cathy Cambre.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Dufore Houillon;  sons, Edward Houillon and Bobby Houillon;  daughters, Penny Houillon (Yvette Orteago), Shannon Patterson (Billy) and Shirley Bueche (Colby);  grandchildren, Caleb Houillon Dycus, Nikki Brandon, Brianna Bowen (Tyler), Taylor Crowder (Kenton), Gabrielle Houillon, Bobby Houillon Jr. and Isabella Patterson;  sisters, Marilyn Vogtman (David), Joanne `Britney` Rose;  great grandchildren, Kain Groue Jr., Zoey Groue, Vivian Houillon, James Houillon, Elliana Bowen and Dean Bowen;  niece, a host of nieces and nephews.
