Earl Vaughn Walters, 73, of Ellisville, MS passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Jones County Rest Home. He was born Tuesday, October 26, 1948 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Moselle Memorial Gardens. Bro. Rayburn Huff will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Earl was a devout Christian. Many days he would purchase bibles himself, and then pass them out to those who didn't have a copy. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Walters; mother, Audie Avera Walters; brothers, Lonnie Walters and Garland Walters.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Bobbie Walters of Ellisville, MS;  sons, Donnie Walters, Jamie Walters, Nathaniel Sears (Patsy) and Kenny Sears;  daughters, Michelle Woerter Melanie Irvin;  brother, Jim Walters;  sisters, Mary Crabtree and Jeanette Hathorne;  grandsons, Jacob  Walters, Caleb Walters, Joshua  Walters, Noah  Walters, Nathaniel Sears, Jr., Kenny Daniel Sears, Jr., Andrew Woerter, Jr. and Daegan Reynolds (Dalyn);  granddaughters, Madison Walters, Kayla Gunnell (Chris), Bridgit Wade, Marie Woerter, Amanda Brown (Tyler), Lauren East (Blake) and Morgan Reynolds;  and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Walters, Caleb Walters, Andrew Woerter Jr., Chris Brock, Nathan Tucker and Travis Tucker.
