Doyle Everett Ellis, 74 of Seminary, MS, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 20, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family in Seminary, MS. He was born June 24, 1950 in Collins, MS.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3:00PM until 10:00PM at County Line Baptist Church at 673 Oak Bowery Road, Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 10:00AM at County Line Baptist Church in Ellisville, MS. Burial will follow in County Line Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Bro. Everette Broome, Bro. Steve Ellis, Bro. Blake Ellis, and Bro. Clay Williamson will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

He was a deacon and member of County Line Baptist Church. He loved his church family and going to church, being with his family and friends and working on old vehicles. He worked in construction, Deep South Truck and Equipment Sales, Seminary, MS, from which he retired.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Bud Ellis Sr.; mother, Palmae Sanford Ellis; brothers, Willie B. Ellis Jr., Clyde Ellis, Charles Mooney and Ralph Mooney; sisters, Betty Shows, Wanda Wilson and Mary Alice Ellis.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Walters Ellis, sons, Dwayne Ellis (Susan), Richard Ellis (Regina) and Russell Ellis (Rebecca);  daughter, Pamela Graham (Preston);  grandchildren, Cory Ellis (Katy), Rivers Ellis, DeAnna Ellis, Darla Williams (Levi), Debra Russell (Winston), Colby Ellis (Adrian), Blake Ellis (Andrea), Briana Hill (Hunter), Precious Campbell (Patrick), Presley McLeod (Dayvis), P.J. Graham (Alexis), Madelyn McDonald (Chance), Grace Ellis and Sam Ellis;  brothers, George Howard Ellis (Shirley), Billy Wayne Ellis;  great grandchildren, Cash Ellis, Anna Kate Ellis, Layla Ellis, Fenton Ellis, Tatum Graves, Henley Graves, Kyleigh Williams, Wiley Williams, Roseanna Ellis, Harmony Hill, Clara Hill, Beau McLeod, Mia McLeod and Audrey McDonald; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Ellis, Richard Ellis, Russell Ellis, Preston Graham, Boots Walters, and Rocky Walters.
