Dovie Lambert, 93, of Ellisville, MS passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at the her residence in Ellisville, MS. She was born Wednesday, August 01, 1928 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Ellisville Funeral Home. The funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place after the service in Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Petal, MS.  Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Dovie was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Maude Cox, her son, Harold Dean Windham; and her daughters, Betty Dorris Windham and Barbara Runnels.

Survivors include her son, Gerald Windham (Lois); and her daughter, Margie Windham.

Pallbearers will be James Runnels, John Runnels, Jason Windham, Derrick Windham, and JR Edwards.
