Dorothy Jean Newcomb, 81, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Friday, April 28, 1939 in Wayne County Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi, the funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM. Survivors include her sons Charles Edward Newcomb Jr. (Brenda) and Tommy Joe Newcomb (Sherri), her grandchildren, Sonya Kay Evans (Lucas), Carie Lynn Riley (Daniel), Tiffany Elise Cockrill (Prentice), Chase Edward Newcomb (Destiny), Dustin Joe Newcomb (Danielle), Jalyn Newcomb, Madison Paige Newcomb, Alexander "AJ" Pope III, a special niece, Debbie Varner (Jimmy) and a host of Great-Grandchildren.

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
