Doris Marie Guthrie, 77, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Dessie Wilson; Father, Coleman Wilson; Daughter, Ginger Guthrie and Grand-daughter, April Shearer.

She is survived and loved by her husband, William "Cliff" Guthrie; Children, Jimmy Guthrie (Nena), Ricky Guthrie (Angela), Tami Phillips (Matt), and Callie Davidson; Sisters, Mildred Dickerson (Wayne), Bonnie McLaurin (Robert), Barbara Bryant (Tommy); Brother, Clinton Wilson (Rita),
8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful member of Glade Baptist Church and served by singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, helping the kitchen committee and volunteering whenever she could. She loved big family gatherings, cooking, baking, and watching her soap operas. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held the same day at 3:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Myrick Cemetery.
Bro. Bob Taylor and Bro. Brandon Wilson will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
