Donnie L. Geddie, aged 94, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Lynnwood Assisted Living in Laurel, Mississippi. Born on May 4, 1930, in Jones, Mississippi, Donnie lived a full and cherished life surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Roger Geddie, Sr.; her parents, Ivey Owen Odom and Lucy Messemore Odom; her brothers, Cecil Owen Odom, James Edward Odom, Sr., and William Seaborn Odom, Sr.; and her sisters, Louise Strickland and Rebecca Joann Dunagin.

Donnie is survived by her devoted children: sons Harold Geddie, Jr. and Darryl Geddie (Deborah), and daughter Faith Braud (Kevin). She was a proud grandmother to Chris Geddie (Chelsea), Nathan E. Geddie, Jennifer E. Braud, Jason M. Braud (Caitlin), and Sherrie Cox (Warren), and a cherished great-grandmother to Parker Cox, Lindsay Cox, Luke C. Geddie, Sophie K. Geddie, Paige M. Braud, Laken A. Braud, and Hadleigh R. Braud.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at West Ellisville Baptist Church in Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00AM at the same location, with Bro. Jim Taylor officiating. Following the service, Donnie will be laid to rest at Mack Brown Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Arrangements are under the care of Ellisville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers for the service will include Chris Geddie, Jason M. Braud, Randy Lawson, B.L Brooks, Eric Shows, and Jay Geddie, with honorary pallbearers Luke Geddie, Eli Zickus, Jesse Geddie, and Bill Odom.
