Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville for Donald L. Kitchens, 90, of Ellisville, Mississippi, who passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Merit Health-Wesley Center in Hattiesburg
.
Brother Harold Rousey will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville with military rites at graveside. Ellisville Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. (601-477-3797)

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville.

Mr. Kitchens was born on Wednesday, October 17, 1928 in Jones County, Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Kitchens retired from the United States Air Force after numerous years of service. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dub and Rae Stennett Kitchens; and two grandsons, Andrew Kitchens, and Josh Kitchens

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Eva Lois Kitchens of Ellisville; his three sons, Kenneth Kitchens (Betty) of Brandon, Gary Kitchens (Regina) of Ellisville, Stevie Kitchens (Kay) of Ellisville; one brother, Bobby Joe Kitchens of Ellisville; four grandchildren, Chad Kitchens (Lynn), Jacob Kitchens (Lauren), Amos Kitchens (Nikki), and Carla Kitchens; ten great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Kitchens, Gary Kitchens, Stevie Kitchens, Chad Kitchens, Jacob Kitchens, and Pernell Smith.
