Dolly Jean Shows, 65 of Bassfield, MS passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Thursday, July 31, 1958, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 10:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Union Line Cemetery in Soso, Mississippi. Bro. Dolly was a loving mother, wife and a wonderful friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Elmer Warden; mother, Minnie Lee Clifton Broome; brothers, Ottis Warden and Travis Warden; sister, Gwindolyn Sigrest.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Thomas Carl Shows; daughters, Sabrina Jean Dunn and Sodonia Welborn; step-son, John Smith; step-daughters, Becky Smith and Theresa Smith; grandchildren, Rod Lovett, Dustin Sullivan, Christopher Shows, Madison Smith, Joseph Smith and Bailey Smith; sister, Maudie Estelle Murphy; great grandchildren, Eli Lovett, Kyzer Lovett, Zander Lovett and Azrael Sullivan and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Warden, Dewayne Prescott, William Murphy, Dustin Sullivan, Rob Lovett, and John Smith.
