Derryle H. Walters (Chuck), 77 of Laurel, MS passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Wednesday, August 4, 1948 in Jackson, Mississippi.

He was a retired truck driver. He retired from Walmart as an assembler in the garden center. He was a devoted man of God and everyone who met him loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Walters; mother, Bobbie Mary Walters.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Rose Walters; daughters, Stephanie Murphy (Ricky) of Laurel, MS, Alise Nix (Michael) and Brittany Walters; sister, Darlene Walters Gunter; grandchildren, Shelby Leeanne Murphy, Ashley Brianne Baldwin (Richard), Peyton Murphy, John Michael Nix, Michaela Nix, Samantha Yanez (Jose) and Erica Yanez (Basilio); great grandchildren, Mia Yanez and Christopher Yanez; A host of nieces and nephews.
