Dennis Wayne Middleton, of Laurel, MS passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Monday, October 27, 1952, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 10:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Faith Chapel Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorthy Mosley Middleton; father, James Herman Middleton; mother, Elver Ellzey Middleton; brothers, Thomas Middleton, Billy R. Middleton, Bobby Joe Middleton and Donnie Middleton; sisters, Maxine Oakes, Paula Lilly and Louise Cochran.

Survivors include his sons, David Middleton (Allison), Daniel Middleton (Lynn), John Middleton and Kimble Middleton (Heather);  grandchildren, Lindsey Middleton (Benny), Briana Sharp (Clay), McKenna Benoit, Landon Harris, Emily Hinton, Alex Hinton, Luke Hinton, Dalton Spradley, Caitlin Middleton, Brice Middleton, Sierra Middleton, Devyn Rose Lindsey and Anslee Lindsey;  brothers, Rufus Middleton, Jimmy Middleton, Robert Middleton, Charles R. Middleton (Mona Ray), Richard Middleton;  sisters, Sybil Toombs, Maurine Ward (Cecil).

Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Hurtt, Dustin Underwood, Carl Holifield, Lee Scarbrough, Dalton Spradley, Landon Harris, Benny Coates, and Clay Sharp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hollis Lee.
