David Hulon Miller, 75, of Ovett, MS, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at his residence in Ovett, MS. Born on Tuesday, August 29, 1950, in Columbia, Mississippi, David lived a life surrounded by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hulon Holmes Miller, his mother, Mary Helen Kirby; stepfather James Earl Kirby; siblings Kevin Miller, John Paul Kirby, Joseph Kirby, Pam Kirby, Roger Kirby.

David is survived by his wife of 48 years Leone Miller; Children Joshua Kirby Miller, David Kyle Miller, Emily Paige Hutson (Benjamin); grandchildren Andrew Lane Miller, Lyla Reese Miller, Kylie June Hutson, Hannah Leone Hutson; siblings Dianne Smith, Janet Applewhite (Ted), Mark Miller (Lisa, Steven Miller (Karen, Patrick Miller (Jennifer), Rodney Kirby (Karen).

A visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00PM till 1:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS. A Memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00PM with arrangements being handled by Ellisville Funeral Home.
