Danny D. Jones Jr., 62, passed away Monday, April 6,2026 at his home in Ellisville, MS. He was born January 14, 1964, in Gainesville, Florida to Dan Jones Sr., and Charlotte Smith.

He grew up in Richton, MS, graduated from Beaumont High School then enlisted in the U. S. Navy. Throughout the years Danny was employed with U.S. Boiler and Tube in Alabama, Georgia Pacific, Taylorsville, MS, CBR Laurel, MS and Thermo-Kool of Laurel, MS.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Dan "Corky" Jones, wife Tabitha Hodgin Jones, brother, Kevin "Kebo" Jones and grandson, Jasper Heidelberg.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Pamela Gray Jones, children, Danielle Steverson (Trey), Dustin Jones (Erin), Roy West (Caitlin, Kristie Busby, (Clay), Josh West (Monica), Cody Heidelberg (Savannah); 8 grandsons, Fletcher, Harrison, Rowan, Ellison, Asher, River, Kayden, and Bryson; 5 granddaughters, Sophie, Piper, Tillie, Isabella and Tinsley. His mother, Charlotte Bolton, brother, Craig Jones, sister, Robin Jones Breland (Grant) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Danny enjoyed many things in life but his favorite thing to do was spend time with family and the many friends he had.

A memorial service will be held by the family Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00AM at Sunrise Baptist Church 299 Sunrise Rd, Petal, MS 39465. Bro Josh West will lead the service.
