Danny Daughtry Delk, 76, of Ellisville, MS, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Collins, MS. Born on July 22, 1949, in Laurel, Mississippi, Danny was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Danny was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He loved fishing, camping and Ole Miss.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Aileen Roberts Delk, and his loving daughters Shawn Graham (Bryan), Dannelle Pickett (Shane), Amanda Brunet (Daniel), and Jessica McKissack (James). He also leaves behind his sister Ann Ward, grandchildren Jared Smith (Brooke), Aaron Graham, Kaitlyn Graham (Hunter), Tommy Norris, Trey McKissack, Brody McKenzie, J`lynn McKissack, Parker Pickett, Piper Pickett, and Emma Brunet, as well as great-grandchildren Ty Smith, Fisher Smith, Mary Ford Smith, and Waylon Cleary. Danny was cherished by a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harper H. Delk and Iris Clestine Padgett Delk, his brothers David Delk, Lloyd Delk, and Gordon Delk, his sister Martha Osborne, and his grandchild Jaxson Beavers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Memorial services will follow at the same location. Arrangements are being handled by Ellisville Funeral Home.
