Cristina Grace Bankston was brought into this world on October 27th, 2023. She was the happiest baby whose smile could light up the darkest room. She smiled at anyone who spoke or looked her direction. She was taken away from us far too soon peacefully in her sleep on April 2nd, 2024.

The family takes comfort that Cristina was just too perfect for this world, and that she will never know the heartbreaks that come with this life on Earth. She is reunited with her Nana in the arms of Jesus. Cristina was able to be an organ donor, helping save the lives of other children.

She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Grace Elaine Hicks and her paternal grandfather; Anthony Jerome Bankston.

She survived by her mother, Joni Walters; her father, Cristopher Bankston; her brother, Chance Fraga; sister, Maggie Lynn Bankston; maternal grandparents, Eve and Edward Walters; paternal grandmother, Katrina Gray. maternal great grandfather, John Hicks; maternal great-great grandmother, Eula "Blackie" Grace Hannah; paternal great grandparents, Helen and Morris Bankston; and a large host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Tucker`s Crossing Baptist Church in Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. The burial will then take place in Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Rowley Jr. will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797
