Cory Bruce McInnis passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 40. He was born on May 26, 1985, and lived a life marked by loyalty, love, and quiet strength.

Cory served in the United States Navy, where he built lasting friendships, and developed the discipline and character that shaped who he was.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Dexter McInnis, and his son, Nathan Kent McInnis.

Cory is survived by his son, Arron Joseph McInnis, who was the light of his life; his mother, Carol McInnis; his brother, Dylan McInnis; and his sister, Katherine McInnis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 11:00AM until 12:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 12:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Ovett, MS.
