Connie Marie Perez, 62, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 5, 2025. Born on November 22, 1962, in Newton, Mississippi, Connie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Eliseo Perez of 23 years, and her loving daughters, Jennifer McNeil, Ginger McNeil-Carson her husband Stan and Ashley 'Nikki' Trujillo, and  Connie was a cherished sister to Jeff McNeil and his wife Brianna, and Pamela Young and her husband Cliff. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Peter Trotter, Jr, Tashee I`onna Trotter, Jaylen Linson, Brittney Jade, Brandon McNeil, Alex Trujillo, Antonio Trujillo, Christina Guerrero, Isabella Hernandez, and Jacob Trujillo, as well as her great-grandchildren, Royal, Josiah, Zola, Ivory, Ja`mir, A`mariry, and Kyren.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtis Marie Griffin McNeil. She's also preceded in death by her special friends, Jimmy Lee Warnsley and Thurman Spradley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, with burial at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Laurel, MS. Bro. Jason Capers will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Brandon McNeil, Isabella Hernandez, Jacob Trujillo, Jaylen Linson, Brittney Becraft, Jennifer McNeil, Christina Guerrero, and Tashee I`onna Trotter.

Connie's family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the love she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
