Cohen "Chris" Rogers,85, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his residence. Born on November 28, 1939, in Sylvarena, Mississippi, Chris was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his sons, Christian Thomas Rogers and Caleb J Rogers (Tina); daughters, Kris Rogers Conn (John), Constance R Bailey (John), Karen Price (Mickey), Jennifer Johnston (George), Sherry Nelson, April Allissa Willey (Max), and Hope Foster (Archie). He also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren: Randall, David, Kevin, Tommy, Jeffrey, Kathryn, Amber, Shane, Jimmy, Brandy, Cody, Rowan, Jeffrey, Joshua, and Jason, as well as 8 great-grandchildren and one more on the way. His brothers, Max Rogers (Julie) and William Rogers, and sister, Elizabeth Pierini (Joseph), also survive him.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Rogers; mother, Mary Edna Lucille Gilbert Lane; brother, Ronny Rogers; and sisters, Carolyn Blount and Sandra Wells.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS, with burial to follow at the same location. Stan Norwood will officiate the service. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
