Charles B. Hathorn, 83, of Ellisville, Mississippi died Thursday at his residence in Ellisville, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, March 17, 1938 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church in Ellisville. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Big Creek Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Morris and Bro. Andy Stringfellow will officiate. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Ellisville. He served in the US Army and he loved his country. He retired from Murphy Oil Company. He was loved by his family and friends. He was always quick to lend a helping hand, he could build anything he put his mind to and he lived his life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Arcola Hathorn, his daughter, Patty Hathorn, three sisters, Sibyl (Ben) Hill, Hazel (Clarence) McMullan, Vernice (Shorty) Cheeks, and four brothers Lavell (Tinnie) Hathorn, Delton (Bonnie Lou) Hathorn, Thurman Hathorn, and H.H. Bud (Joyce) Hathorn.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years Janette Hathorn, three sons, Tim (Dianne) Hathorn, Bobby (Bonnie) Hathorn, Jeffrey (Amy) Hathorn, Four grandchildren Scott Hathorn, Jordan (Stacey) Sheppard, Hope (Joseph) Denmark, Jay Hathorn, and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lance Taylor, Kevin Hunnell, Jeremy Hunnell, Rev.Scott Morris, Joey McRee, Casey Bynum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Walters and Mikey Baylis,
