Carolyn Ann Pitts, 78, of Soso, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 in Taylorsville, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, July 21, 1942 in Ferriday, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Jimmy Hood will officiate. Ann was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed making dolls, sewing, painting, and cooking. She also loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Truman and Clara Estelle King, one son, Randy Dwayne Pitts, two brothers, Billy King and Buddy King, and six sisters, Betty King, Teresa Wiley, Kay Russell, Joy McDaniel, Leona Roberson and Patsy Hall.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years George Pitts, five children, Greg Pitts, Tim Pitts, Randy Pitts, Michael Pitts (Christy), Missy Pearce (Jon), one sister, Mary Blakeney and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
