Carl Melton's Obituary
Carl Junior Melton, 84 of Myrick Community, died Friday December 6, 2019. He was born October 23, 1935 in Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 beginning at 11:00 am with services to follow at 1:00 pm at Ellisville Funeral Home. Burial will be at in Myrick Cemetery. Rev. Tim Hubbard will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797
He loved deer hunting and running dogs and being outdoors. Working in his garden and being in the BIG WOODS.
He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes (Mable) Pittman Melton, parents Carlie and Opal Melton and two brothers Tommy Melton and Bill Melton.
Survivors include his step- daughter Vickie (Steve) Grice; step son Jimmy (Linda) Williams. Four sisters Melba Roberts, Annie Padgett, Dorothy Hampton, Martha Webb. Grandchildren Stacy Coleman, Stephanie Brewer, Mark Williams, Jamie Gaspero, Shane Grice. Eight great grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Grice, Shane Grice, Stacy Coleman, Terry Murray, Kelly Walker and Mike Smith.
