Buddy
Wade
January 22, 1965 – August 10, 2025
Alna Benjamin "Buddy" Wade III, age 60, of Ellisville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and adventure.
Born and raised in Ellisville, Buddy grew up with a love for the outdoors and a fearless spirit. In his younger years, he traveled the country for work, collecting stories, friendships, and experiences along the way. He was preceded in death by his father, Alna Benjamin Wade II; his mother, Erva Lee Corley Wade; and his sister, Marylynn Wade Smith.
Buddy's passions were as big as his heart. He found joy on the open road with the rumble of a motorcycle beneath him, in the quiet peace of the woods while hunting, and in every precious moment spent with his beloved granddaughters. Known for his playful nature, Buddy was always ready with a prank and a smile that could light up a room.
He is survived by his sons, Dane Wade and Corley Wade; his daughters, Samantha Wade Runnels (Matt) and Skyler Wade (Cindy); and his treasured granddaughters, Aubrey Hall and Ainsley Runnels. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Byron Smith; his niece, Haley Smith Sumrall (Brent); and two nephews, Ben and Judah Sumrall.
Buddy will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his deep love for family, and the way he could make anyone laugh. His memory will live on in the stories told, the rides taken, and the laughter shared by those who loved him.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
