Bobby Wayne Stroud, 92, of Ovett, MS, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, MS. Born on September 1, 1932, in Atlanta, Louisiana, Bobby lived a full and cherished life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josie Stroud, and his parents, Floyd Stroud and Maudie Mae Carmene Stroud. Bobby is survived by his sons, Jeff Stroud (Vickie) and Ronnie Stroud, and his daughters, Linda Stroud and Terry Tullos. He also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his brothers, Doug Stroud (Chris), Ray Stroud (Jeannie), and Fred Stroud (Janice), and his sister, Marlene Thomas (B.J.).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at County Line Baptist Church in Ovett, MS, followed by funeral services at 2:00PM. Burial will take place at County Line Cemetery in Ovett, MS, with Bro. Kenny Walters officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Ellisville Funeral Home.

Bobby will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, who will serve as pallbearers. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
