Bobby Glenn Braswell Sr., 77, of the Calhoun Community passed away on February 12, 2022, at South Central Regional Medical Center. Bobby was born on December 12, 1944, to Jeff Manning Braswell and Emma Bazzie Seals Braswell. He was born and raised in Jones County, Mississippi. Bobby attended Calhoun Elementary School and graduated from Calhoun High School where he excelled in high school football.

After high school, Bobby graduated from Jones County Junior College with an Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting. He then attended the University of Southern Mississippi to further his education. Bobby proudly served his country as a soldier in the United States Army during the conflict in Vietnam.

Bobby was a talented draftsman and construction engineer. He owned and operated a very respected and successful business, Bob Braswell Construction Company, Inc. He was well known for his many metal building construction projects in Jones County and surrounding areas.

Bobby had a love for life and enjoyed time with his family and friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved fishing on the Gulf Coast and on the lakes of South Carolina with his brother.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three sisters, his only daughter, Sherry Braswell Felts, and many other family members with whom he is now rejoicing in Heaven.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Beth Braswell, his only son, Dr. Glenn Braswell, Jr. and wife, Dr. Andrea Braswell, son in law, Dr. T'Al Felts, grandsons Tee Felts and Zak Felts, and granddaughters Maddy and Mia Braswell and many other loving family members and friends.

Bobby's Celebration of Life will be held at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi, on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 1 pm for the visitation and service. Brother Brandon Wilson will officiate.

The family requests any memorials be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
