Bill L. Jaquith, Jr, 77 of Ovett, MS passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, December 11, 1947, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00AM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Ellisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Beech Cemetery in Ovett, Mississippi. Bro. Ray Matthews and Bro. Thomas Montgomery will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. William L. Jaquith, Sr.; mother, Dorothy Mae Marshall Jaquith; father-in-law, Billy Ray Blackwell, Sr. (Jessie Mae).

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Katherine Blackwell Jaquith; daughter, Janet Allissa Jaquith; nephews, Ryan McCarty (Nicole), Bo McCarty and Ryker Mangano; nieces, Charlee McCarty, Cameron Mangano (Joe); brother-in-law's, Jessie Blackwell, Billy Ray "Plowboy" (Lawanda).; sister-in-law, Linda McCarty (Brian).

Pallbearers will be Jessie Lancaster, Darrel Little, Gordon Pitts, Mike Smith, Justin Thompson, and Phil Walters.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Pitts, Joe Patrick, Morris Walters, and Wesley Thomas.
