Betty Louise Davis, 82, of Ellisville, MS, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on August 12, 1942, in Laurel, Mississippi, Betty was a dedicated LPN nurse with Ellisville State School for 33 years. She was a loving wife and was known for the meals she prepared, as well as her nurturing nature, always going above and beyond to care for those in her community. Betty was larger than life and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis G. Davis; her father, Andrew J. Nix; her mother, Edily Crochet Nix; her brothers, Russell Nix, Sr. and Jack Nix; and her sisters, Carmen Waltman and Maxine Walters. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM at the same location, with burial in Myrick Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Bro. Josh Pierce will officiate the services.
