Betty Gail Cline, 72 of Laurel, MS passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at her residence in Laurel, MS. She was born Saturday, March 3, 1951, in Gas City, Indiana.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8:00pm at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Lake Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Brent Gilbert will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Betty was a member of Lake Congregational Methodist Church where she taught the adult Sunday school class. She was a dedicated worker for Mississippi Power for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Butler; mother, Julia Logan Croddy; sisters, Phyllis Aidt and Donna Welch.

Survivors include her brothers, Fred Butler (Jill) and Jack Butler (Ruth); niece, Jennifer Johnson (Andy); great-niece, Lindsey Johnson, great-nephew, Travis Johnson; nieces, Julianne Poole and Amber Johnson and a host of other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Aidt, Andy Johnson, Travis Johnson, Joshua Butler, Kevin Poole, and Michael Johnson.
