Barbara Ann Robinson, 82, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Born on September 19, 1942, in Brownsville, Tennessee, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, James W. Robinson of Ellisville, MS; her son, James Robinson, Jr. and his wife Jeannie of Laurel, MS; her daughter, Teresa Knight and her husband Ricky; her cherished grandchildren, Chase Knight and his wife Hope, Curtis Robinson, and Chancey Mapp and her husband Clifton; her sisters, Mary Tucker and Marty Fite; and her great-grandchildren, Bo Knight, Knightly Mapp, and Valerie Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alford Colburn and Beulah Thomason; her brothers, Sonny Thomason, Edward Thomason, and Mike Thomason; and her sisters, Bessie Norwood, Sylivia Hart, and Evoynne Mathias.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at New Bethany Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at New Bethany Baptist Church in Ellisville, Mississippi, with Bro. James Walker officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Chase Knight, Curtis Robinson, Steve Robinson, Joe Robinson, Charlie Westbrook, and Clifton Mapp.

Barbara will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
