Barbara Alice Knight Holifield, 74, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, November 10, 1945 in Stringer, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Ellisville Funeral Home and the Burial will follow in Union Line Cemetery. Bro. Bill Myers will officiate. Barbara was very passionate and a caring nurse at State Hospital for over 14 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and her greatest joy was her great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ercel Talmadge and Myrtle Knight, brothers, James Knight and Harold Knight.

Survivors include her daughters, Angelia Rustin (Scott), Darlene Wooten (Dan), grandchildren, Justin Hodge (Rachel), Cody Hodge, Jacob Hodge, John Daniel Wooten (Careh), Jordan Wooten (Jaycee), Ross Wooten (Kallee), Memorie Boykin, Dallas Rustin, great-grandchildren, Bentley Hodge, Kimber Hodge, Peace Thompson, Colton Hodge, brother, Edward Knight, including former husband, Butch and Gemma Holifield and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Carl Knight, Justin Hodge, Cody Hodge, Jacob Hodge, Clint Pool, and Dallas Rustin.
