Arnold Ray Craddock, 81, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at his residence in Laurel, MS. Born on October 12, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas, Ray was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served in The Marines and was honored with a Purple Heart. He had a deep love for golf and cherished his family dearly.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Ardis (Nena) Nowell Craddock; his son, George Brandon Brady (Shae); his daughters, Amanda Craddock Clark (Douglas) and Sheila Michelle Jones (Doug); and his brother, Jack Slocum (Kay). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Gracie Clark, Brayden Clark, Stella Clark, Finley Clark, Erin Collard (Bryan), Dejay Jones (Megan), Jonathan Jones (Rachel), Hardi Cook (David Jr.), Layken Jones, and Destiny Jones, as well as his great-grandchildren, Caleigh Jones, Anniston Jones, Andrew Jones, Chesleigh Jones, and Jensen Jones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Lincoln Craddock; his mother, Della Louis Toney Craddock; his brother, Delano Craddock, his sister, Marcel Ezell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Mill Creek Methodist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM at Mill Creek Methodist Church in Laurel, MS, with burial in the church cemetery. Douglas Clark will officiate the services, and arrangements are being handled by Ellisville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor to Samaritans Purse.
