Annie Rae Knight, 76 of Ovett, MS passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Saturday, January 13, 1945 in New Orleans, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Glade Faithway Landmark Baptist Church in Laurel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Ellisville. Bro. Wade Bush will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Mrs. Annie Rae loved to craft and journal. She enjoyed making beautiful floral arrangements with her niece, Diane Landrum. She was also a dedicated member of Glade Faithway Landmark Baptist Church and took pride in preparing flowers for the church each season. She also loved to bake and cook for her church family at their dinners at the end of each month. Annie Rae was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Beulah Martin, her sister, Louise Chambliss and her brother, Wade Martin.

Survivors include her husband, James "Hoot" Knight and their daughter, Jeanine Knight.
Pallbearers will be Heath Chambliss, Dwayne Knight, Tyler Lott, Ken Landrum, Ethan Knight, Colton Knight and Bryce Finley.
