Adelheid "Heidi" Jones, 73, of Ovett, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. She was born on February 25, 1951, in Wollbach, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. She was a beloved member of her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Donald Jones; her father, Franz Wehner; her mother, Helen Dreiling Wehner; and her brother, Gerhard Wehner.

Heidi is survived by her sons, David Hancock (Amy) and Shane Hancock; her daughter, Karen Pete (Benjamin); her grandchildren, Haley Thacker (Cameron), Carla Hancock, Jacob Hancock, Morgan Pete, Anna Grace Pete, Connor Pete, Logan Westbrook, Aubrey Dodge, Cheyenne Dodge; her brother, Heinrich Wehner; her sister, Sonja Beck; her great-grandchildren, Brantley Thacker, Waylon Thacker, and Paisley Thacker; and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special friend, Mary Dean.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Andy Scott officiating. Burial will take place in Ellisville City Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
